Precisely they are! Both are factors to arrived at a better if not best decision.*-> You have to weigh your emotions…are you capable to bear the pain? the happiness? or whatever it may take.*-> Are you emotionally prepared?*-> Is it acceptable by the society? No hazard to anyone? *-> If done so, can you stand for it for the decision you make to last for life?*-> Based from the situations given, you can now justify your reasons. Is it morally worthwhile?

i’m very sure you are an IB student. because i’m too.anyway for me moral decision should be based on both reason and emotion. you need reason so that your decision sounds logical. and emotion is also needed because your are not making your decision in a vacuum. you are surrounded by people and you need to consider their feeling too while making a decision.
